Our Achievements to Date (June 2025)

It takes quite a while to establish an Incorporated Association, but while we’ve been diligently working through the various legal and statutory requirements, the enthusiastic SAND team has certainly not been idle. In fact, we’ve been quite busy behind the scenes, brainstorming exciting new initiatives and planning events that will engage our wonderful community.

To date, SAND (in its unincorporated format), has delivered:

  • An award-winning Neighbourhood Watch (eWatch Shoreline)

  • Refuse Bins in Jingeri Park

  • Dog waste bag dispensers and bags in Jingeri Park

  • Neighbourhood Watch signage throughout the developed estate (more to come)

  • A well-used and loved street library (a second site to be delivered soon)

  • An online petition for a Southbound Bus Service from Shoreline (with more than 400 signatures, presented to our State MP for action)

  • Active liaison with Lendlease/Stockland regarding the progress of the development (and any changes to the Master Plan)

  • Active liaison with Redland City Council as needed regarding parking, road safety, park provisioning, etc,.

  • Active liaison with our State MP to keep Shoreline development and resident needs at the fore

  • Active liaison with Scenic Shores State School to help provide their needs and build better relationships with Shoreline

  • Participation with Crime Stoppers Queensland

  • Active liaison with Queensland Police to ensure we maintain a safe and secure neighbourhood

As the Association enthusiastically moves forward into the future, we’re excited to deliver even more fantastic events and a wider range of services and facilities for our cherished residents.

If you feel a desire to truly engage with our vibrant community and help shape the bright future of Shoreline, why not consider joining us as a Member? You can also lend a hand as a volunteer, or simply support the meaningful work we do. We wholeheartedly welcome your imaginative suggestions for upcoming events, services, and additional facilities—feel free to use the Feedback or Contact links to share your thoughts with us.

Seats on the Management Committee will become subject to election in 2027, but remember, to be eligible, you must first be an Ordinary Member of the Association. Throughout the year, we will schedule regular public meetings designed to include both Members (Ordinary and Associate) and non-Members, ensuring everyone has a voice. We genuinely welcome and value all feedback, anytime! Don’t just sit back and complain—join us in shaping the future and help SAND achieve its exciting goals!
