Welcome to Shoreline! That’s what most existing residents will say to you when they meet you for the first time. Even on our community social pages, you’ll receive a warm and genuine welcome.

Residents’ commitment to building a safe, secure and fun environment for all who live on Shoreline is demonstrated through the creation of the Shoreline Association for Neighbourhood Development Inc. (SAND).

SAND is an incorporated association established to support and grow the Shoreline community, providing facilities and services where they don’t exist and organising events to bring the community together.

Running a number of events throughout the year, and providing ongoing fundraisers to support community growth, SAND is here to listen to what residents’ needs are on Shoreline and to advocate for their provision.

SAND is operated as an Incorporated Association, able to raise funds through donations, memberships, grants and sponsorship. It is run on a day-to-day basis through a Management Committee of community representatives. The first open election for members of the Committee will be held in 2027 and Ordinary Members of SAND can be considered to serve on the Committee for a period of two years.
